Our love for viticulture is born in South Tyrol, where our roots belong.

Originally from Bolzano, for a long time we collected our native Sauvignon Blanc grapes and gave them to Cantina Sociale.

In 2008, we created our first Conti Thun label, a tribute to Lene Thun, Ilona's grandmother, founder of THUN ceramics and a great lover of nature and the art of winemaking. Since then, we have continued our journey as winemakers, cultivating not only the steep vineyards of Terlano (in our private estate Weingut Kohlstatt), but also the gentle hills of Lake Garda, in Valtènesi, on the Masserino Estate, where our production and ageing cellar, Osteria, Wine
Shop and Wine Resort are now located.

We chose to live in this wonderful area because here we can realize our dream: living according to nature, caring for the fruits of this wonderful land with love and passion, making wine and oil and sharing with you our work and our home while creating an authentic place where sustainable agriculture and hospitality, excellence and nature, emotions and poetry coexist. 

Return to the earth, to the rhythm of the sun and the seasons, to the breath of the hills and the wind. Our love for Valtènesi comes from a project of life and family.
